Reasons and sources

Platforms

Advantage: MyBloodTest. Both have iOS and Android apps; Health3’s current guide says its web app is temporarily unavailable, while MyBloodTest runs on the web.

Health3

Available on iOS and Android. Its current feature guide says the web app is temporarily unavailable.

MyBloodTest

Available on iOS, Android and the web. Some imports and wellness integrations depend on your platform.

Report capture

Even. Both extract PDF and photo reports for review; ongoing Health3 scanning needs Premium, and MyBloodTest scan allowances vary by plan.

Health3

Import supported PDFs or photos, then correct or exclude extracted entries before saving. Manual entry is available. Ongoing automated scanning requires Premium.

MyBloodTest

Scan a PDF or photo, review the extracted entries and save dated results. Scanning needs sign-in, internet and an available scan allowance.

Trends and context

Even. Both compare lab history over time; Health3 adds a Lifestyle Journal, and MyBloodTest adds supported wellness imports on mobile.

Health3

View biomarker history and tests by date. A Lifestyle Journal keeps dated notes alongside results; reference sources and test comparison tools add context.

MyBloodTest

Compare lab trends together. Parent profiles on supported mobile platforms can import wellness data from Apple Health, Health Connect, Fitbit and Withings, depending on permissions. Wellness data does not sync across devices; nearby changes do not establish a cause.

Sharing

Even. Both offer expiring, revocable sharing; Health3 adds PDF, image and per-biomarker sharing, and MyBloodTest adds CSV and original reports.

Health3

Export a test, full history or topic as PDF, or a Test Report as an image. Selected-biomarker access can expire and be revoked. Exported PDFs and images open without a Health3 account.

MyBloodTest

Share a profile's lab history through a time-limited, revocable link with a generated PIN. Choose whether to include original reports. Lab results can also be exported as CSV.

Family use

Advantage: MyBloodTest. MyBloodTest supports parent-managed child profiles; Health3’s cited sources do not describe how parents would manage a child’s records.

Health3

Its policy sets an adult user scope and describes deleting data collected from children. This does not establish whether parents can manage a child's records; confirm that workflow with Health3.

MyBloodTest

Keep a child's results in a separate sub-profile under the parent account. A paid Family plan covers separate adult accounts.

Other imports

Even. Health3 connects to supported Apple Health clinical records on iOS; MyBloodTest imports its CSV format and supported clinical-record files.

Health3

On iOS, import supported clinical lab records already available in Apple Health, with permission. This is separate from general activity or sleep synchronization.

MyBloodTest

Supported file imports include MyBloodTest CSV and selected clinical-record formats. Platform requirements and format limits are listed in the import guide.

Storage

Even. Health3 uses a cloud account and server processing; MyBloodTest native results can stay local, while scans and web results use the cloud.

Health3

Uses an account with cloud storage and server processing for report imports. Its privacy policy identifies the providers and explains retention and account deletion.

MyBloodTest

Native results can remain local with cloud sync off. Scanning uses cloud processing and stores the original under your account; web results and share snapshots use cloud storage.

Which fits your needs?

01

Consider Health3

You prefer a mobile workflow with a lifestyle journal, sourced reference context and PDF or image reports. Its Apple Health Clinical Records import may be useful if your provider supplies compatible records.

02

Consider MyBloodTest

You want phone and browser access, lab trends you can compare together, supported wellness context in your own mobile profile and separate child profiles. These are practical reasons to choose MyBloodTest for your own or your family's history.

Choose the workflow you will use between tests.

For a history you can check on your phone or in a browser, MyBloodTest offers both. Its child profiles also let a parent keep records separate. Health3's current guide says web access is temporarily unavailable; its adult user policy does not establish support for parent-managed child records.

Health3 is a useful fit when a lifestyle journal, supported Apple Health clinical imports or PDF and image exports matter most. It can also share selected biomarkers. MyBloodTest shares a profile's lab history through a link protected by a generated PIN, can include original reports and offers CSV export.

Trying MyBloodTest does not require closing a Health3 account. Scan a readable report you already have and check dates, names, values and units before saving. There is no automatic transfer between the two accounts.

Yes. Health3 offers PDF and image exports, plus selected-biomarker access that can expire and be revoked. MyBloodTest shares a profile's lab history through a time-limited, revocable PIN-protected link, with optional original reports. CSV export is also available.
